Clean, reliable power for the Singapore we’ll grow up in
We’re Youth for Energy Security SG (YES SG), a group of young people in Singapore who think nuclear energy, especially small modular reactors, deserves a serious, open-minded look. We help people get the facts and join the conversation.
The situation in 4 facts
Where things stand
Singapore has not decided to use nuclear energy. The Government is studying it carefully, building expertise in nuclear safety and regulation, and will start the first phase of an International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) review in 2027. That review is not a commitment to build anything.[1][4]
We think that careful approach is right. Our goal is to help more Singaporeans, especially young people, understand the options, ask good questions, and take part in the discussion.
What we do
Explain
Plain-language facts on energy, nuclear and SMRs, with every claim linked to its source.
